Missing in Action

I've been a little bit missing in action on the Blogger front as of the last couple of weeks (Shortly after the Christmas vanishing act, I know, I know!) but I have been beyond busy with Wedding planning and well..Christmas is Christmas.

I'm currently in England in the 'Control room' (My Dad works from home as a computer programmer, the office has 10 computer screens in at this particular moment.) I've been visiting venues and viewing rings all week and trying to work out the various millions of paperwork bits and bobs me and Stian will need to sort out to marry in the UK. So the only way of me keeping my sanity throughout this is to remember the photograph to the side of this text. That's my room at the Barn hotel. Giant bath complete with TV on the wall, guess who isn't going to spend her wedding night stressing? Well okay I might a little but really who could stress in a room like that!

The venue we thought would be gorgeous from the website went above our expectations and we have booked it (Okay so technically I'm still waiting on the wedding planner getting back to me with final pricing but I've told her providing that is what we discussed to book it.) I kind of don't want to post photographs of the actual room as I have a couple of our guests probably reading this and I'd like to leave it a surprise as I very much doubt any of them have been there before! I may change my mind on this so you should keep an eye out.

So that's been my week hectic, hectic, hectic! I've been to Morrisons and stocked up on teabags (300 if I remember correctly!) along with various cabin trip supplies though annoyingly we may have encountered a problem with that - The guy whose parents own the cabin may not be able to make it due to work and well, since that was half the reason the trip was planned I fear it might be cancelled now. Sigh.

I'm desperate to get out of the house in Norway and make the most of the free time that me and Stian have together, especially since he works every other weekend ontop of weekdays but everywhere seems to have dropped to freezing and below temperatures - Even the UK currently so a camping trip is out of the question! Made the mistake of going to early last year... Definitely won't be making that mistake again!

So this is really a jump-about and badly written post to explain my AFK'ness, I'm off to my Auntie's tomorrow to design Wedding invites, as I might not be back over in England till May!
